This information is provided to assist organisations funded under a service agreement with the department that are required to demonstrate compliance with HSQF through a self-assessment against the Human Services Quality Standards.
Self-assessment generally applies for non-direct service delivery and/or to universal or low-intensity service delivery and where the level of departmental investment meets a set threshold. An updated version of the Quality Framework (PDF, 1.2 MB) Quality Framework(DOCX, 2.8 MB) Version 6.0 commenced from 1 January 2020. The funding threshold for self-assessment is described below.
Organisations in this category undertake a self-assessment to rate their performance against the Human Services Quality Standards. Self-assessment indicates that standards are being met and identified improvements are being implemented.
Organisations should use the department's self-assessment resources, available below, to complete their self-assessment. Guide to Self-Assessment and Continuous Improvement - Self-Assessable Organisations provides detailed information about how to complete a self-assessment.
